Hi Everyone! Its been a while since I've done something super dramatic, so I put this eye look together. Sorry there hasn't been a lot of tutorials recently, I haven't had enough natural light to take decent photos with, that's the only reason! It was a tad brighter today and the pictures came out clear and almost true to life colour-wise, so I'm happy enough! Hope you like it!
I began as always, by applying Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original all over the eyelid, all the way up to the brow and underneath also. Pretty much everywhere I was going to apply eyeshadows to.
Taking the Crown C124 Firm Shadow brush, I packed Junkie from the Urban Decay Vice palette mainly in the middle of the moving lid, up as far as the socket, but keeping the inner corner clear. This is a beautiful frosty green, it looks more yellowy in the pan, but once applied to the skin, it takes on a bluey hue.
Next, to blend out the Junkie colour softly, I used the Real Techniques Essential Crease Brush and the tiniest amount of Mushroom from the UD Mariposa palette and buffed away any harsh seams.
To give some dramatic depth to the outer corner, I used Royal from the Smashbox Smokebox palette on a pointed pencil brush from Crown. Don't be afraid to overlap with Junkie when applying this, and using the same blending brush with whatevers left on it to buff away harsh lines.
To add a pop of brightness to the tear duct area, I used Blitz from the Vice palette using the Accent Brush by Real Techniques.
On the brow bone I used Anonymous from the Vice palette on a small, generic shader brush. I love the satin finish of this product.
Use any type of brush you like for applying under the lower lashes, I love this stubby kind of shader brush to do this. I used the Royal colour again.
On the lower and upper waterline I used UD pencil in Zero, on the upper lashline I used Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid Liner and on the lashes I used Clinique High Impact Mascara.
The lashes are from a brand called Depend, and they're the Cleopatra lashes.
