Rihanna Diamonds Inspired Smokey Eye Tutorial

Hi Everyone! Another tutorial using the Urban Decay Vice palette, and a celebrity inspired one, havent done one of these in ages! So the beautiful Rihanna has yet another catchy tune out and looks well, beautiful in the video, so I figured I'd show you how to "shine bright" like her hahahahah. Also I havent doe a Rihanna look yet, so yay! I loved the way this turned out, although I felt a tad over done for the cinema (went to see Breaking Dawn and cringed the whole way through it, like how did I ever read the book without laughing once?!) Anyway, enjoy the look!
I began as usual by applying my UDPP all over the lid and under the lower lases.
On a flat brush I took the colour Laced from the Vice palette and patted this all over the lid up as far as the socket and blended out the edges using a large fluffy blending brush.
On a pointed crease brush I took the colour Desperation and placed it in the outer and inner corner and the socket, leaving the middle of the lid bare. Using the same lending brush as before with a tiny bit of Laced on it, I blended the edges.
I used Anonymous as my brow highlight and also took Desperation under the lower lashes.
I ran Avon SuperShock Gel Pencil along the lower and upper waterlines as well as on the top lashline. I set the liner with Black Market and an angled brush.
Urban Decay Lush Lash Mascara
I filled my brows in with Catrice Brow Kit and applied Active Cosmetics Allure lashes.
Oh and I went blonde :P Its a working process to get it to an icy white blonde.
Remember you have til Sunday to get yourself entered into my giveaway and be in with a chance to win a Vice palette like the one I used in this tutorial! Best of luck guys! :)

Urban Decay Vice Palette Review & 400 Follower GIVEAWAY! Closed.

Hi Everyone! I was so excited when I first saw the Vice palette was coming out (I know its been out for a while now) and I've been loving it. So I thought I'd do a review of it and some not-very-good swatches as well :) These are 20 brand new, never before seen colours all in the new formula.
The case itself is sleek and slim, with no annoying gimmicks, which makes it far more appealing to use than the Book of Shadows for example. I unexpectedly fell in love with the rubberised feel of the case as well and the embellished UD logo on the front. There's a little release button at the front which I love (no more tin-packaging please).
The palette has an amazing array of different shades and finishes, from pure glitters (which pleasingly dont end up falling all over your face) to satins and a few mattes. I do like my mattes and there never seems to be enough in any palette :). My favourite shades at the minute are Laced (cool-toned light brown matte, perfect transition colour), Chaos (bright true blue, satin), Rapture (purpled shimmery taupe, similar to Mac's Satin Taupe) and Blitz (frosty yellow-gold).
The synthetic double ended brush is great, I think better than the Naked2 one, but the thing that I find it amazing for, is applying and blending concealer. Wish I could buy these on their own, they're brilliant.
R-L; Occupy, Jagged, Echo Beach, Rapture, Chaos, Muse, Nevermind, Provocateur, Junkie, Desperation.
R-L; Laced, Armour, Black Market, Penny Lane, Freebird, Noise, Unhinged, Blitz, Anonymous, Vice.

Now time for the giveaway! So to celebrate me having reached an amazing 400 followers and to show you guys how much it means to me that you're interested in what I do, and actually want to read my blog, Im giving away one of these Vice Palettes! Urban Decay sent me one for consideration, but I had already went out and bought one so I decided what could be better than give it to one of my readers?

To enter, all you have to do is follow my blog and comment on this post with your email address (comments wont be published). This competition will close at 12.00 on Sunday 25th November and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter. I will email the winner as well as announce it here. This giveaway is open to everyone. Best of luck! :)

Muse Blitz

Hi Everyone! Another tutorial using mainly the Vice Palette, this time bronze and smokey with a pop of crazy yellow gold frost. Hope you likey!
I began by applying my UDPP Original all over the lid, this step is not necessary if you dont have oily eyelids, which I do.
Next, as a colour base, I used the UD 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil in Wasteland all over the moving lid and blended the edges.
On a flat brush, I picked up Muse (a rich warm brown specled with gold) and pushed it all over where I applied Wasteland.

I used Laced on a large blending brush to help transition Muse into the browbone.

To help further with blending I applied Anonymous to the brow bone and inner corner to keep the eyes from looking tired.

I ran Wasteland and Muse using the same brush on the lower lashline and the pencil on the waterline also.
I took Black Market on an angled brush and quite liberally defined the lashline.

On a small brush I dotted a little bit of Blitz into the very center of the lid for an amazing pop of colour. Honestly, my camera skills do this colour no justice.

Urban Decay Lush Lash Mascara (review coming soon!)

Hope you guys like it! Much love xx Note: Some of the products mentioned in this post were sent to me for consideration by Urban Decay, all opinions are my own.

Hi Everyone! Shock horror Sara has another post up! WTF! Here I was just playing around with the Vice Palette from Urban Decay, which I'm loving at the minute, wanted to do something a bit more colourful than my usual wearable looks. Hope you like it!
I began by applying UDPP Original all over the lid and under the lower lashes.
On a flat brush I took Satin Taupe eyeshadow by Mac and patted this to the middle of the moving lid.
On the same brush I took the colour Provocateur from the Vice Palette and patted this in the inner half, overlapping with Satin Taupe. I love the formulation of these new shadows, its almost as though the colour jumps into your brush and there's minimal fallout.
Still using the same brush, I took Rapture and patted this to the outer half of the lid, again overlapping with Satin Taupe.
On a small blending brush, I took Vice and applied it in the crease and the outer-V.
Next using Satin Taupe again this time with a large fluffy brush I blended out the edges of Vice.
On a small shader brush I took the aptly named Anonymous and placed this in the inner corner and under the brow.
I took the colour Junkie under the lower lashes to add a contrasting pop of colour.
On a pointed crease brush I picked up a little bit of Black Market and deepened the outer corner.
Avon SuperShock Gel Liner Pencil on the upper and lower waterline.
Rimmel Glam'Eyes Liquid Liner on top lashline.
Clinique High Impact Mascara.
Ardell 102 Lashes. Ta Da!
On my cheeks I used Well Dresses blush from Mac and on my lips I had on Bourjois 3D Lipgloss in Brun Poetic.
