Beauty Inspo: Kimberley Wyatt

Just a quick post about my current girl crush Kimberley Wyatt, (ex-Pussycat Doll). I saw the video for Goodbye Goodnight with her new band, Her Majesty and the Wolves, and she looked amazing (first picture). She also wore the prettiest dresses in the video, revealing a whole new sense of style that I didnt realise she had. I want to do a make-up look based on her, but its a very simple black liner most of the time, so maybe I'll try the crazy pink diamonds like in her video? Whaddyathink? xxxx

Coral & Bronze Soft Cut-Crease

I did a post about this look back in November and got asked how it was done so I decided it was about time I posted a tutorial :) Above is the original photo, and the ones I took today are at the end of this post. Hope everyone's enjoying this non-summer we're having :P

Here's my bare eye, just to show you how diabolical my eyebrows really are hahah.

Urban Decay Primer Potion all over lid and on bottom lashline too. Used UD Buck on outer half of eyebrows and Naked on inner half to create a natural, gradient eyebrow.

This is the lid colour, its from one of these 88 shimmer palettes. I packed this on the lid up to the crease.


I applied Urban Decay Darkhorse sharply in the crease and blended this out using Naked, Smog and for under the eyebrow I used Low Profile from Benefit (similar to Mac Brule) and Blanc type from Mac.

I took Smog and Darkhorse under the eye and brought it down quite far.

On the waterline and upper waterline I wore Gosh pencil in Metallic Brass (love) and did a dramatic winged liner on top with Rimmel Glam'Eyes Liquid Liner (love the super thin brush).

Some mascara and eyelashes later, tada! the lashes are Ardell Demi 102 lashes from Sally's. Much nicer than the ones in the original pic methinks.

Debs Make-Up Trials & Kittens

Hello Ladies, hope you're all doing well..! My friend Sinead and her friend Ciara came over last night to do a trial run of their debs (or prom, formals, whatever you call them).
Ths is Ciara, we went for a Cheryl Cole inspired smokey eye, she has the most amazing eyelashes, but we put on a pair of fake ones just because she'd never tried them before.






Sinead wanted a 1920's inspired smokey eye, so I tried to incorporate that into her look, but keeping things like her natural brow shape etc.






And here's the kittens, 10 days old! They opened their eyes abut an hour after taking these photos, so cute :)

Smokey Eyes & Crazy Lips

My friend Ash was staying over with me last Wednesday night and agreed to let me go crazy with her make-up. She has these amazing murky green eyes and sooo much lid space, I could paint the map of europe in fine detail there. The Jessie-J-ish lips were her idea, and are nowhere near perfect, as Ive never tried doing something like that before, but the end result was quite cool. She actually went out like this after believe it or not :)

I come bearing kittens...

Hello girls, so what was supposed to be a week turned into a month and a week because thats how long it takes Irish broadband companies to get things sorted haha. It turns out Pandora was pregnant after all and on Monday morning we got four beautiful kittens :) I dont know if I'll be back to posting quite as often as I used to but I'll try to post at least twice a week. Things are just a little crazy at the minute, my boyfriend is having surgery tomorrow to have a tumour removed from his brain so blogging is kind of at the bottom of my list right now :/ But these beauties deserved to be posted about :) The two black ones I named Bear and Monkey and the two tiger coloured ones are Tiger and Shark. Its amazing how much joy I get out of these little bundles, and Pandoras being a surprisingly good mammy considering she isnt even a year old..! Teen mom hahah. Xxx
