Hi Everyone! I have another tutorial using the UD Naked Basics palette, this time a lot smokier. I know some of you havent been completely sold on this, which is perfectly ok, I just love having a palette out of which I use all the colours equally, usually the matte neutrals are always hitting pan in my palettes (shape of my Naked original..!). So as always, feel free to use whatever colours you already have if you decide to try this out! Lets get started!
As always I began by applying UDPP all over the lid and under the lower lashes.
On a flat shader brush I did a wash of Naked2 all over the moving eyelid, as far as the socket and took it under the lower lashline as well, quite low and smokey. See the difference in tone from what it looks like in the pan and on the eye?!
Next using Faint and a stiff smudgy brush (the pic seems to have gone walkies on me, I cant find it anywhere!) I darkened the moving lid and under the lower lashes. To deepen the lashline even more, I used an angled brush and Crave to roughly place colour on the top lashline and I used the smudgy brush with Faint on it to blend. I kept applying and blending until I got I was happy with the result (Crave falls out like nobody's business, so definitely recommend leaving your base until after your eyeshadows!)
I used Walk of Shame on a small shader brush to subtly highlight under the browbone and inner corner.

Back to Basics with UD
Hi Everyone! Just a quick thank you for sticking with me through my absence there over the last 2 months or so, i really appreciate it. Now tutorial time! When I saw the Naked Basics palette, I knew it was meant to be, being the neutral freak that I am, and so it was a late Christmas present to myself (damn you impulse buying!). Here I just did a very simple basic look, daytime friendly, just to test the palette out more so than anything! Smokier looks coming soon!
I primed my lid with UDPP as per usual.
On a flat shader brush I took the colour Walk Of Shame and did a wash of it all over the lid up to the browbone.
On a small shader brush, I placed a little bit of Venus in the inner corner and just under the browbone for an iridescent highlight.
Next, on a large blending brush I swept some Naked2 into the crease softly and also under the lower lashes.
On a stiffer blending brush I deepened the crease and outer corner with some Faint.
I lined my lashline with Crave and an angled brush.
Urban Decay Lush Lash Mascara.
I filled in my brows with Catrice Brow Kit.

Rihanna Diamonds Inspired Smokey Eye Tutorial
Hi Everyone! Another tutorial using the Urban Decay Vice palette, and a celebrity inspired one, havent done one of these in ages! So the beautiful Rihanna has yet another catchy tune out and looks well, beautiful in the video, so I figured I'd show you how to "shine bright" like her hahahahah. Also I havent doe a Rihanna look yet, so yay! I loved the way this turned out, although I felt a tad over done for the cinema (went to see Breaking Dawn and cringed the whole way through it, like how did I ever read the book without laughing once?!) Anyway, enjoy the look!
I began as usual by applying my UDPP all over the lid and under the lower lases.
On a flat brush I took the colour Laced from the Vice palette and patted this all over the lid up as far as the socket and blended out the edges using a large fluffy blending brush.
On a pointed crease brush I took the colour Desperation and placed it in the outer and inner corner and the socket, leaving the middle of the lid bare. Using the same lending brush as before with a tiny bit of Laced on it, I blended the edges.
I used Anonymous as my brow highlight and also took Desperation under the lower lashes.
I ran Avon SuperShock Gel Pencil along the lower and upper waterlines as well as on the top lashline. I set the liner with Black Market and an angled brush.
Urban Decay Lush Lash Mascara I filled my brows in with Catrice Brow Kit and applied Active Cosmetics Allure lashes. Oh and I went blonde :P Its a working process to get it to an icy white blonde. Remember you have til Sunday to get yourself entered into my giveaway and be in with a chance to win a Vice palette like the one I used in this tutorial! Best of luck guys! :)

Urban Decay Vice Palette Review & 400 Follower GIVEAWAY! Closed.
Hi Everyone! I was so excited when I first saw the Vice palette was coming out (I know its been out for a while now) and I've been loving it. So I thought I'd do a review of it and some not-very-good swatches as well :)
These are 20 brand new, never before seen colours all in the new formula.
The case itself is sleek and slim, with no annoying gimmicks, which makes it far more appealing to use than the Book of Shadows for example. I unexpectedly fell in love with the rubberised feel of the case as well and the embellished UD logo on the front. There's a little release button at the front which I love (no more tin-packaging please).
The palette has an amazing array of different shades and finishes, from pure glitters (which pleasingly dont end up falling all over your face) to satins and a few mattes. I do like my mattes and there never seems to be enough in any palette :). My favourite shades at the minute are Laced (cool-toned light brown matte, perfect transition colour), Chaos (bright true blue, satin), Rapture (purpled shimmery taupe, similar to Mac's Satin Taupe) and Blitz (frosty yellow-gold).
The synthetic double ended brush is great, I think better than the Naked2 one, but the thing that I find it amazing for, is applying and blending concealer. Wish I could buy these on their own, they're brilliant.
R-L; Occupy, Jagged, Echo Beach, Rapture, Chaos, Muse, Nevermind, Provocateur, Junkie, Desperation.
R-L; Laced, Armour, Black Market, Penny Lane, Freebird, Noise, Unhinged, Blitz, Anonymous, Vice.
Now time for the giveaway! So to celebrate me having reached an amazing 400 followers and to show you guys how much it means to me that you're interested in what I do, and actually want to read my blog, Im giving away one of these Vice Palettes! Urban Decay sent me one for consideration, but I had already went out and bought one so I decided what could be better than give it to one of my readers?
To enter, all you have to do is follow my blog and comment on this post with your email address (comments wont be published). This competition will close at 12.00 on Sunday 25th November and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter. I will email the winner as well as announce it here. This giveaway is open to everyone. Best of luck! :)
